Computer Science 523
Advanced Programming
Summer 2014, The College of Saint Rose
Agenda
We will be using a system called "SubmissionBox," developed by software engineering students here at Saint Rose, for the submission of most of your work this semester. We'll start by making sure everyone can log in and submit a test assignment before we move on to the first in-class exercise.
First, everyone will need to come up to get their SubmissionBox account set up (or updated, if you were in previous course of mine that used SB) to be used for this course.
Once your SubmissionBox account is ready to go, create a document (a plain text or Word document, for example) and save it somewhere on your computer. Then log into SubmissionBox, and submit this document under assignment "SBTest". Verify that you received an email confirmation for this submission.
Terminology
This section on each lecture's page will list the terms we introduce or review that you should understand after working through the day's readings and assignments and attending the day's lecture.
Examples
This section will contain links to the examples we study and/or develop during class. All examples are also linked from the "Examples" page, accessible from the "Examples" tab at the top of each page on the course web site.
