Due at the start of class, Monday, April 22.
Please submit answers to these questions
either as a hard copy (typeset or handwritten are OK) or by email to
terescoj AT strose.edu by the start of class. Please use a clear subject line
when submitting by email (e.g., CSC 507 Lecture
Assignment 11, Joe Student). We will discuss these
questions at the start of class, so no late submissions are
accepted.
The readings for next class are Sommerville Chapter 18. Also see
the Chapter 18 presentations on the text's site.
- Complete a speaker summary for our guest speaker Wes Turner.
In a page or less, describe the key points you took from the talk
and discussion. (10 points)
- Summarize Stallman's key points about free (as in speech)
software. See the link below in addition to thinking about what was
in the video. Discuss where you agree and where you disagree with
Stallman on issues of software freedom. (10 points)
