Announcements

• CS colloquium this week, regular time.
• Graded labs: lost.. Will not be redone before the exam. I will get solutions up ASAP.

Midterm Information

• The exam will be available electronically by Friday evening.
• Permitted sources: textbooks, your own class notes, my lecture notes, web pages linked directly from the course web pages.
• No other sources are allowed.
• There will be no programming in the sense that you will not need to submit any working programs, but some questions may involve some minor "pencil and paper" type coding, or reading/modifying/interpreting code I give you.
• Topics up to the last class before break are considered fair game.
• You will have all weekend to complete the exam. My intent is for you to need 3-4 hours, but if you want to work on it for 2 days solid, you're welcome to do so.
• Further details will be on the exam.
