  • Exam will be available through the Registrar's office as a 24-hour take home from Saturday 12/9 through Sunday 12/17
  • The exam will focus on topics since the last exam, but the material is cumulative by its nature
    • main memory organization
    • microarchitecture, microcode
    • RISC vs. CISC
    • pipelining
    • branch prediction
    • cache memory, virtual memory
    • current architectures/parallelism (Friday's topic)
    • other topics we have not covered specifically but that you should be able to think about given what we have covered
