The Thursday talk is at 8 PM and is intended for general audiences. The Friday talk is at 2:35 PM and will be more technical. Both talks will take place in Physics 203. Please make an effort to attend. Bring along everyone you know who has ever used google.
Yoda says "Mind what you have learned. Save you it can." He may have been talking about debuggers. Use them! It's up to you if you want to use emacs/javac/java/jdb, or something like Eclipse or Xcode. Just make sure that what you submit can be run with javac/java at the command line.
A reason to use emacs in your daily life: rectangular cut/copy/paste.
