- Try your IDs in the door, codes will be removed soon. If
they don't work, you probably need to go to the lock shop to get
them activated. Unfortunately, our locks are on a different system
than many others on campus, and require that you get your card
programmed at the lock shop.
- Computer Science colloquium this week, Friday 2:30 PM, TCL
206. Computer Science faculty briefly describe their research. This
is very useful if you're considering doing a thesis, summer project,
or independent study in Computer Science. This is not only for
juniors - many projects can be tackled by students whose experience
only goes up to CS 136! Come by for snacks and to hear from the
faculty.
- Our first exam is October 20 at 1 PM in TCL 206.
- There will be an opportunity to ask exam-related questions
each day up until our exam. If there is interest in a review
session, we can arrange a time Monday or Tuesday evening.
- A list of topics is available in the last section of today's
online lecture notes.
- Lab 4 is due Wednesday because of reading period. Lab 5 out
now, but there is no design or practice question set. Are Sunday TA
hours useful this week?
- Final words on sorting
- Design Methods
