Course News
- We're done! Thank you for an enjoyable semester.
Related Information and Links
- You will submit your work and share it with your classmates by
uploading your images to the class
wiki.
- Setting the Language in DrScheme (hopefully you only need to do this once per computer)
- Under the "Language" menu, select "Choose Language"
- In the window that comes up, click the triangle next to "PLT" to reveal additional options
- Select "Textual (MzScheme, include R5RS)"
- On the right, make sure that the following are the only items selected: "Case sensitive", "Debugging", "write", and "Use decimal notation for rationals". No others should be selected.
- Click "OK"
- You can install Mead on your own Mac or Unix system, or create a
bootable CD image that will allow you to boot your Windows computer
into a Linux system that supports Mead. See your friendly instructor
for help setting up on your own Mac or for a copy of the CD to try out
for yourself. If you use the CD and wish to save to a USB drive, you
will need to follow some extra steps to be able to write to your USB
drive,
documented here.
- Mead class examples will all be placed on the wiki, indexed in the
Class Examples
Category.
The links on each lecture page will take you to the example's wiki
page. Each example will also be placed in a folder on the shared CS
112 folder you can mount from smb://winterstorm.strose.edu/cs112
from on campus. On the lab Macs, you can connect to this by choosing
"Connect from Server" and entering that mount point in the box. You
will need to copy the examples to your own file space to be able to
run and/or modify them.
