Please submit answers to these questions
in Blackboard by the start of class. We will discuss these questions at
the start of class, so no late submissions are accepted.
- Think about the devices you use that are connected to the Internet.
What are these devices? How does each usually connect to the
Internet? What technology is used for the "last mile"?
- We discussed low-level network protocols. Which manages the
data on the wire? Which allows information to be routed to the
correct destination? Which manages higher-level "conversations"?
