Agenda

Lecture Assignment 2

Due at the start of class, Wednesday, September 13.

Please submit answers to these questions either as a hard copy (typeset or handwritten are OK) or by email to jteresco AT siena.edu by the start of class. Please use a clear subject line when submitting by email (e.g., CS 180 Lecture Assignment 2, Joe Student). We will discuss these questions at the start of class, so no late submissions are accepted.

All of my course materials are developed using a markup language called LaTeX. LaTeX is usually used to create printable documents, but I use a package called Hyperlatex that also generates HTML. This link should bring up the LaTeX source of this lecture page.

Compare the LaTeX markup with the HTML generated (hint: view the HTML source of this page in your browser). Which elements of the LaTeX source can you identify? (5 points)
