• In-class exercise (part 2 - continuation from last class): choose an interesting class example or one of your previous labs and modify it so that it generates at least one image with each of the following properties:
  • a Spotlight shining on some object
  • a different value for the image antialiasing property
  • a camera with a different position, center of interest, and/or orientation from the default camera
  • an orthographic camera
  • an isometric camera (does not seem to work on most lab machines...)

  Submit by demonstrating in class, or by email as "Lecture 14 in-class exercise" for 10 lecture assignment points.

Due at the start of class, Thursday, March 14.

Please submit answers to these questions either as a hard copy (typeset or handwritten are OK) or by email to terescoj AT strose.edu by the start of class. Please use a clear subject line when submitting by email (e.g., CSC 112 Lecture Assignment 14, Joe Student). We will discuss these questions at the start of class, so no late submissions are accepted.

In honor of Thursday's annual Pi Day celebration, and to get a bit more CSG practice, create an object that looks like a nice big slice of pie. The following is a view of such an object taken with an isometric camera. (6 points)

You need not run this in DrScheme or generate an image, but you may do so if you wish.
