  • Please attend the session for which you registered - there should be room to swap later if you wish to change.
  • We will not use the entire time slots as scheduled by the registrar. The morning lab session will run 9:00-10:50 and the afternoon session 1:30-3:20.
  • We will meet for abbreviated sessions this Friday!
  • This week only the morning session will start at 9:30 and the afternoon session will start at 2:00.

Please submit answers to these questions either as a hard copy (typeset or handwritten are OK) or by email to jteresco AT mtholyoke.edu by the start of class. We will discuss these questions at the start of class, so no late submissions are accepted.

1. What is your preferred email address for class-related messages?
2. Tell me about your experience with computers. Are you familiar with the Macintosh environment? Have you done any programming? ("No" is a perfectly acceptable answer to these!)
3. What movies and/or other media that make extensive use of computer-generated images or animation stand out in your mind? What is it about these that made you think of them as an answer to this question?
